Port Macquarie BBRC Grant

This development is a joint initiative of the Federal Government with the Port Macquarie Hastings Council that aims to provide housing affordability for purchasers on ordinary incomes.

Port Macquarie Hastings Council secured funding from the Australian Government’s Building Better Regional Cities (BBRC) program in 2012. The BBRC Program is designed to provide low to moderate-income earners with the opportunity to purchase residential land and build housing on the applicable land by providing an incentive of $20,000 that is applied at settlement.

There were 100 incentives available under the Building Better Regional Cities Port Macquarie Residential Development, comprising of 67 incentives in the area of Thrumster and 33 incentives in the area of Innes Peninsula.

At this point in time, all 100 incentives have been issued and Ethan Affordable Housing is not assessing any further applications on behalf of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council except to maintain a  short waiting list for any incentive payments that may be returned.  If you have any further enquiries regarding eligibility for the program, please email bbrc@ethanhousing.com.au or call our office on (03) 9830 2669.
